How to enter Skull City?

The NFT Worlds platform's current state is tied to the Microsoft/Mojang authentication layer so go at it like you were gonna "play" Minecraft. 



You'll need the Java edition of Minecraft (for PC/Mac/Linux) and you'll need a Microsoft account (or a legacy "Mojang" system account if you already have one). The Java edition costs $27. The NFT Worlds devs are working towards not being dependent upon that installation at all. Not clear what the timeframe is for their custom “launcher” - but it could still be weeks/ months out. As it stands, NFT Worlds are compatible with v 1.18.x of the Minecraft launcher. 


STEP 1) Create a Microsoft account (or find yours if you have an existing one). Their site for this has lots of “XBOX” references. Don’t worry, you’re in the right place! https://www.minecraft.net/

STEP 2) Download/install Minecraft ( https://www.minecraft.net/ )
 
 
The base install includes the most recent version of the Minecraft launcher (1.18.x). Once installed, you’ll then go to the installations tab and hit the “New installation” button to add version 1.17.1 - like the attached screenshot shows. On the “new installation” screen - give it a name of your choosing and then select “release 1.17.1” from the Version/Server drop list.

STEP 3) Connect to SKULL CITY! From the “Play” menu, hit the big green “PLAY” button.

Give it a minute. You should get a screen like the following:

STEP 4) Press “Multiplayer” and then “Direct Connection”.

STEP 5) Enter this address and click Join Server.
